Why to use a VPN
If you are like me you are concerned about online Privacy. When I’m out at the coffee shop I use my VPN to hide my IP address and encrypt my data and remove restrictions.
Who do you know that shops online and banks online? In 2020 80% of consumers across the globe shopped online reaching nearly 90 %. In 2020, 240 million people Banked online in North America. That is 240 million people that should be using a VPN.
Q1 of 2021 banking fraud including Internet, Telephone and Branch fraud grew 159%.
Online banking fraud attempts are 93% of all bank fraud attempts for Q1 2021.
If you used a VPN you will be much safer because your activities are secure (ie your traffic will be hidden/encrypted) No one can see what you do online. Hackers will search but can’t see you or interfere with you.
Why use a VPN for Protection
With VPN your Browsing history cannot be sold to to anybody. Government agencies have been known to track & collect your browsing history and messages and share them across country borders. Stop this by setting up a VPN which will hide your data, encrypt your traffic and also hide your IP address. An IP is like an address where your computer or phone is which communicates to the internet. When you use a VPN it sets up a secure (encrypted) path or what is called a Tunnel over the internet. This secures the data traveling between you and your target destination. I recommend a VPN for anything on the internet especially banking online, messaging, email. Setting up a VPN is very easy. You just need an account to connect to one of many servers on the map. You can even easily change the server. I have included a VPN provider below that I trust.
